wesley’s incense list
- kida jinseido kyarakunkoh — lovely sweet cinnamony smell with a aloeswood base.
- nippon kodo morning star myrrh — very good.
- auroshikha copal sticks — good quality copal, citrusy. i like it.
- nandita fortuna sticks — flowery, sort of violet. pretty good. i like how the stick curls up as it burns instead of falling apart.
- nippon kodo morning star jasmine — nice simple jasmine.
- tulasi african musk sticks — good stuff, but intense.
- shoyeido evening zen — still deciding. smells better not burning than burning, sadly.
- koyasan daishido shikimi — interesting, still figuring out how i feel about it.
- kida jinseido ranjatai — interesting scent, but a bit too much of a burning smell for my tastes.
- nippon kodo morning star frankincense — nice pure frankincense.
- yamadamatsu hyofu aloeswood blend — a very interesting scent, but unfortunately not that pleasant.
- nippon kodo morning star green tea — surprisingly good — i expected green tea to be a sort of novelty, but it's pretty nice.
- nippon kodo morning star sandalwood — my favorite sandalwood. small, no bamboo core, good quality.
- nippon kodo morning star patchouli — TBD, still deciding.
- tulasi sandalwood sticks — reasonable quality sandalwood.
- tulasi cedarwood sticks — mostly smells like burning. not a fan.
- satya sandalwood sticks — not real sandalwood. sort of vanilla-y? not a fan.
- tulasi night queen sticks — floral, mostly rosey. smells bad when it's burning.
