i've been thinking recently about lists & collections as a form of creativity

it might not seem like there's much creativity in a list,

at first glance

but i think in some ways,

putting things next to each other is all any creative work really is

i'm generally wary of labels and taxonomies

(so it's funny that i like lists so much)

but i believe that in playing with naming and categorizing

we can learn to see how doing so distorts our vision

to strip bare the feedback loops,

and move beyond them
